Canned Wine?

I'm still getting used to the idea that a twist off cap doesn't necessarily mean bad wine, but for some reason the idea of canned wine doesn't cause me much concern.

The folks at GearHungry featured Underwood Canned Wine from the Union Wine Company in Oregon. Canning is apparently cheaper than bottling, so six of these only cost a cool $24.

A quick Google search revealed that Union isn't the only player at the table. Now that I think about it, I'm sure I'm sure I've had a sip of canned sparkling wine before.

I'm not a beer person, but you can't beat the convenience of a six pack, and now that convenience is  being adopted by reputable winemakers.  Sounds good to me. Cheers!

I NEED this. Wine is always going to waste at our house because we drink it so rarely, and don't usually drink an entire bottle.
